Merry-Go-Round of Life for Beginner Harp

The music of Studio Ghibli films is beloved the world over, and none more than the main theme of Howl's Moving Castle, Merry-Go-Round of Life by Joe Hisaishi.

I love when new harp students can play their favourite songs early on in their harp journey - it's so exciting to create music we love straight from our fingertips!

That's why I decided to create a beginner-friendly version of this piece, which you can listen to here:

This is an abridged beginner harp arrangement of Merry-Go-Round of Life for lever or pedal harp.

Lever harpists will need their harp tuned in E flat with a full set of levers (lever changes required on B, C, E and F).

The range is C3 to A5 and fits on a 26 string harp.

Pedal and lever changes are marked on the music, along with partial markings for fingerings.
